Over the last 40 years I have tried to keep to certain guidelines in choosing my breeding lines. These are physical strength and good health, amiable personality, a kind eye and, of course, natural working ability.
I am not having a litter from Radicott Hebe this summer, after all, but will mate her at Christmas. Seven puppies are already booked but people do change their minds and she does have large litters, so there may be more available. I shall probably use the same dog again as the last litter was so strong and healthy and all had such outgoing temperaments.
